During high school I loved math and science, as a result my freshman year at UW
I looked at engineering, biology and medicine as possible major and career paths.
To satisfy engineering requirements I finished the calculus series, took more
advanced math courses and general chemistry. I also took two introductory
engineering seminars and was intrigued by civil and environmental engineering (CEE)
problems. At the end of freshman year I was accepted into CEE via early admission
and I excitedly accepted the offer.
